Impeach the leech!

If I haven’t made it clear before, I don’t implicitly trust AI for information. I don’t really like AI all that much… except to generate fancy images for my blog, of course.

I would advise everyone to verify, very carefully, and then double-check the information they get from AI bots. I’m convinced AI is being manipulated by billionaire (tech-baron) owners for their own nefarious ends. That allegation has been covered elsewhere, so I won’t rehash it here.

However…

Sometimes it’s good for shits and giggles.

I’ve been following the I Ask AI channel on YouTube for a couple of months. David, the narrator, asks AI (usually ChatGPT, Grok, Meta, Claude, DeepSeek, Google’s Gemini, and Trump’s AI on Truth Social) to break down current events (usually political) and provide an unbiased analysis.

It’s fun, and I watch to see which AI chickens out and refuses to answer politically sensitive questions. You can call it confirmation that AI is being manipulated. Just this morning, David asked ChatGPT, Grok, Meta, DeepSeek, Google’s Gemini, and Trump’s AI on Truth Social what they’d impeach Donald Trump for.

The AI answers were hardly illuminating. There are so many reasons, and Trump just keeps ramping up the list of offences daily, but you can check out AI’s responses in the YouTube video above. Claude usually dodges, but what amused me this time was Google Gemini’s cowardice in refusing to answer. (Some uncomfortable questions there for Alphabet’s billionaire owners).

Personally, I think impeachment is a complete waste of time… mine specifically. I get that Americans seem to love it for the entertainment value, because in truth, that’s all it is. The whole impeachment process is performative.

Neither Democrats nor Republicans seriously want to impeach anyone. They just go through the motions to reassure the voters that democracy works (sic). Comedian George Carlin once said that “… its a big club and you ain’t in it.”

Just three U.S. presidents have been formally impeached: Andrew Johnson (1868), Bill Clinton (1998), and Donald Trump (2019 and 2021). One might say Richard Nixon escaped impeachment because he resigned in 1974 before formal proceedings began.

None; yes, none of these men was actually convicted by the Senate. Now you know how politicians protect each other. Mock trials and worthless Congressional hearings are the extent of their loathing for one another.

Canadian journalist Linda McQuaig was on the mark when she observed that people care more about politicians’ misdemeanours than their crimes. Meanwhile, the Senate is more likely to vote to go to war than to bring one of its own to justice.

But hey, war is very profitable… for everyone in the country.

We here are pinning a LOT of hope for rational change (and eventual D.C. regime removal) on what we hope will be a “blue (midterm voting) tsunami.” With Congress and the Court capitulating to current madness, though — instead of to the Constitution — our actual only feasible choice barring an eventual wide and successful full impeachment is, it seems to me, revolution. I am definitely out-musketed.

  I think full-blown revolution is the only way forward for America as neither the Democrats or Republicans have served y’all honestly.
  Your electoral system is corrupt to the core since your politicians are bought and paid for by the rich classes. Your democratic choice is an illusion.
